Iga Swiatek won in singles and doubles to lead Poland's 2-1 comeback against Czechia in the Billie Jean King Cup on Saturday. Poland will meet Italy in the semifinals after Jasmine Paolini likewise won her singles and doubles matches to lead Italy back for a 2-1 win over Japan.

It had been more than three years since Iga Swiatek and Paula Badosa faced off, having split their two prior matches. The third meeting did not disappoint fans watching the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup.

Iga Swiatek has beaten Paula Badosa in three sets and Poland has knocked out host Spain 2-0 in the opening round of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals in Malaga.
