Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter combine to lead Great Britain into the Billie Jean King Cup semi-finals at the expense of defending champions Canada.

Britain dispatched defending champions Canada 2-0 to advance to the Billie Jean King Cup semi-finals on Sunday following straight-sets singles wins from Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter. They will play Slovakia on Tuesday for a place in the final.

Emma Raducanu is now 2-of-2 at the Billie Jean King Cup Finals after ousting Rebecca Marino 6-0 7-5 to help Great Britain beat defending champions Canada and progress into the semifinal.

Raducanu's win meant that Boulter had the chance to punch GB's ticket to the semis against Fernandez, who memorably lost to the former in the US Open showpiece three years ago, and the current British number one made light work of the former Grand Slam finalist.
