A flight operated by Southwest couldn't take off Friday because a bullet struck the plane. It came hours after a fire evacuated passengers on another flight.

Before takeoff, a Southwest Airlines flight heading from Denver to Houston had to evacuate more than 100 passengers after a phone caught fire.

A Southwest Airlines flight with passengers onboard was struck by gunfire as it was preparing to take off at Dallas Love Field Airport in Texas, authorities said.
