More specifically, the exterior scenes of the downtown area in Hot Frosty were filmed in Brockville, a city in Eastern Ontario in Canada. According to a local news report from the city’s HometownTV12, the ice sculpture competition set was constructed outside of the Brockville city courthouse.

Here’s the pitch for “Hot Frosty”: A widow wraps an enchanted scarf around a hunky snowman who springs to life and professes his love. Here are the two possible audience reactions: “How dumb!” and “How dumb — can’t wait to watch!”
