Tonje scored a career-high 41 points to power the Badgers in a 103-88 upset victory over No. 9 Arizona Friday night at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis. Well, by the rankings it was an upset. Wisconsin was frankly in control from wire to wire.

John Blackwell and Max Klesmit combined for 27 points in the victory, walk-on guard Jack Janicki played a big role with nine points off the bench, transfer forward Xavier Amos finished with eight points with two three-pointers made and Kamari McGee continued to excel in his role off the bench.

John Tonje had a career-high 41 points — two shy of the Wisconsin record — to lead the Badgers over No. 9 Arizona 103-88 on Friday night. Wisconsin (4-0) never trailed, and fans stormed the Kohl Center court after the final horn.
