This comes after Soto’s first meeting with the Sox left him very impressed. The top two contenders other than the Sox are the two New York teams, the Yankees and the Mets.

Juan Soto met with the Red Sox on Thursday in California, multiple sources confirmed. Soto’s list of suitors reportedly extends beyond the Red Sox to include the Yankees, Mets, and Blue Jays, all of whom have either met with or are scheduled to meet with the four-time All-Star.
