State and city leaders have renounced the group of masked men who marched in Columbus’ Short North neighborhood shouting racist slurs Saturday. Eyewitness accounts and police reports show the march was not a “peaceful” demonstration.

Video showed nearly a dozen people wearing black pants, shirts and head coverings and red masks covering their mouths marching down the street. Three of the people were carrying black flags with red swastikas.
